Carol's Reception and Alaska!

Ok.. this blog starts with my friends Carol & Dan's Wedding reception. they got married in hawaii in may but had thier reception june 21st. It was a hawaiian theme wedding

These are just some pictures on our way to talkeetna it was kind of rainy and cold

at our dinner show you could pay 1.00 to get a kiss.. my uncle Howie getting a kiss and David getting the kiss I paid for Zack but he ran away..little turd


We stayed a couple of nights in these little cabins and this was our view from them

Moose, Moose, Moose.. everywhere Moose.. I kept looking for the male ones but I guess they loose thier antlers every year..

this owl was great.. it is just a baby but as soon as I took the picture it looked right at me.. how amazing. I love owls

On the bus.. uncle howie was looking at aunt tracys pictures and accidently deleted them all.. so this is a picture of him taking more to make up for the ones he got rid of.. linda did this also but on her camera.. no one was getting my camera..lol

we went to a hot springs and ice museum and the bugs where crazy here.. here is a picture of linda and the bugs all around her

Uncle howies car got a flat so howie, david and I spent the night at howies friends house on a military base.. while we were driving there on base we saw this momma moose and her baby.. oh and by the way.. it is like 10 pm here.. it is daylight all day long..crazy



How fun is this town.. it is north pole alaska.. and all the light poles look like candy canes and such.. this is actually where all the letters to santa come to.. what a fun place!

if you ever go to alaska you have to take this white water rafting trip with this company.. talk about customer service.. they took my camera and took pictures of us and really gave us a lot of personal attention. we were on the matanuska river and the company is Matanuska Madwater rafting company.. www.matanuskamadwater.com I am telling you.. they were the friendliest group of people and they had snacks waiting for us after our trip.

we went to glacier park in sutton alaska and the glacier was so blue.. I don't think you can really see how blue.. but in the picture above.. is shari, linda and aunt bonnie

so those are the pictures I took.. it was really amazing and I had a great time meeting all of my family. It was really sad to leave them all.. but the good news is ..that they decided that the next reunion is going to be in 2 years and we will be doing a hawaiian cruise!!! I am so there!
